what is Emprende?

Emprende, which means start-up, is a program that forms and accompanies people of scant resources so that they can develop their business ideas or strengthen their start-ups.

There are 15 training modules and live consultations with specialist mentors who guide and accompany people to achieve their goals.

The Emprende program is an opportunity for them to receive tools that will help them improve their possibilities of starting a business.

To achieve great things, we must not only act, we must also dream; it is not only necessary to plan, we must also believe.

first graduating class

In the first generation, 8 teams with 8 businesses graduated and are operating in La Pila Delegation.  They received awards from Juntos and the companies that supported the project, as well as equipment from the MiPyme program of the Secretaría del Trabajo y Previsión Social de San Luis Potosí, which is the small business branch of a government ministry.

In this video >> you can see the final event where the women presented their businesses and were evaluated by the committee that chose the 3 winning teams.

Methodology

Every week, we upload a video about the session’s topic, which is available the whole week as reference and can be viewed as often as necessary.

We give you a workbook in which you’ll do activities during the week that will help you reinforce what you’ve learned in the weekly video.

You’ll accumulate points for each module and at the end of the workshop, you’ll receive recognition for your work.

We have live sessions vía Zoom, in which you can receive answers to your questions, reinforce knowledge and talk about the topics you’ve seen in each session.
