adapted transport
FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES
BREAKING BARRIERS
One of the main barriers for people with disabilities to get a job, is the city’s lack of adapted transport. Even if companies are willing to hire people with motor disabilities, mainly those who use a wheelchair, the first question that needs to be answered is how they’re going to get to work.
With this in mind, we’ve started an adapted transport project so that the hiring of people with these disabilities will increase. In addition, the project sets an example for other transport providers to adapt their units which will contribute to improving job inclusion for people with disabilities in the city.
principal allies
We believe that the alliances between the private sector, government and the civil society can facilitate the creation of high-impact projects and programs in the community. We’d like to thank the companies and institutions that have enabled us to bring this project to fruition and grow so that people with disabilities have better job opportunities.
