The key is in people's development
“Needs are great and resources are insufficient. We need to work on empowering each person to be an agent of positive change in their community, so that they, in turn, can form the following generations.”
WHAT IS COMMUNITY INTERVENTION?
Community intervention is an integral strategy for highly- marginalized communities which allows us, in a first stage, to reach out to people with disabilities and learn about their specific needs in order to satisfy them. Later, we train them to develop projects and accompany them through their realization. This is how people, groups and entire communities become self-determining of what it takes to satisfy their own needs.
